Professor Ilan Pappe is the director of the European Center for Palestine Studies at the university of Exeter. He received is D. Phil from the university of Oxford.
Until 2007, Pappe at the university of Haifa, Israel from which he was expelled due to his ideological positions. He moved to Exeter where he teaches now at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies.
Pappe wrote 20 books to date, the most famous of them in The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine and On Palestine (jointly with Noam Chomsky). His most recent book his The Ten Myths of Israel.
