Professor Dr. Kostas Gouliamos is a Deputy President of the “Prometheus” Research Institute/Cyprus and former Rector of the European University Cyprus. An award-winning writer/poet and internationally a prominent intellectual on cultural and social issues, Professor Gouliamos is elected Ordinary Member of the European Academy of Sciences & Arts;he is also elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA), founded in 1754 in London-UK. Professor Gouliamos pursued an academic career in Canada, Greece and Cyprus. He is also a Honorary and/or Visiting Professor at various universities in China. Part of his work has been published in English by leading publishing houses;it has also been translated into several languages and included in the world’s historical libraries. Some of his books were honored by the participation of leading thinkers of our time: from Nobel Prize winner Noam Chomsky to Cornelius Castoriadis and Henry Giroux. Kostas Gouliamos and Mikis Theodorakis co-authored (2018) the philosophical essay “The Dialectics of Harmony”.
