Dr Orla Drummond is a human rights lawyer and Senior Research Analyst with Trilateral Research, Ireland. She has recently conducted the PREPARED project’s legal and human rights analysis, examining rule of law and fundamental rights issues during times of crisis and emergency. Orla has conducted various research projects on human rights, equality, and access to justice for the Northern Ireland Assembly, the NI Commission for Victims and Survivors, Queen’s University Belfast, and Ulster University. Orla was awarded the Modern Law Review Scholarship from the London School for Economics for her PhD research on access to justice barriers for users of Special Educational Needs Tribunals
